From natural resources such as corn, wheat and beetroot, through a transformation process, it is possible to obtain a biopolymer, the PLA, which forms the basis of our products entirely biodegradable and compostable in accordance with the standard UNI EN 13432. (disintegration of 90% in three months).
I nostri prodotti compostabili possono quindi essere smaltiti nell’umido producendo i compost ricchi di materia organica che migliora le caratteristiche nutritive del terreno.
THE PLA
Polylactic Acid
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biopolymer obtained from the transformation of natural resources. Its life cycle is completely sustainable: from the raw material we move on to the transformation, to get compostable products which, once used, become organic waste. Through the composting (in just 3 months), is generated fertile humus which nourishes the soil, starting the cycle again.
